The treatment options for patients are always as good as the current state of medical knowledge and therefore subject to constant development. For this reason, I dedicate myself in addition to my clinical activity also passionately to dermatological research. As a researcher and scientist, I have been the head of my own research group at the Department of Dermatology of the Medical University of Vienna for many years, which primarily deals with basic research into skin cancer.
Department of Biology, Cell Biology and Physiology, University of Copenhagen

I am a member of the Austrian Society of Dermatology and Venereology (ÖGDV), the Society of Investigative Dermatology (SID), the European Society of Dermatological Research (ESDR), the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Dermatologische Forschung (ADF) and the Austrian Society of Dermatopathology.
